A neighbor is bringing his autistic boy in the hospital to undergo hyperbaric oxygen treatment for the first time. His boy was diagnosed with autism three years ago but he’s only trying the cutting edge medical treatment now because he chanced upon a news article on the internet about a boy who went through HBO therapy sessions for six months and showed some improvement. The result was so promising that my neighbor came to see the HBO therapy center right away. And today he’s bringing his son for the first session.
After a month, a delivery van marked with http://www.chambertherapy.com parked in front of my neighbor’s house and took out from the van what looked like a huge capsule. When my neighbor turned out he motioned me to come over to check what he’s got. Apparently, he got his own hyperbaric chamber for his child because he will be having months to maybe a year of therapy. And instead of transporting his kid to the center, he will administer the therapy from home under the supervision and guidance of his child’s doctor. It’s a long way but things are looking better for the child.
