Hit The Lights, DJ!

Being a Disc Jockey is not an easy thing because first, you need to be upbeat and cool. Second, you should be imaginative and third, you should understand the needs or the likes of your people. If you do all these things, success will be yours in no time. Of course aside from the things mentioned above, you need to trust the lights and give the people everything that you’ve got to satisfy them at the end of the night and more importantly to make them happy. DJ lights will help your party brighten and fun. Aside from lights, music is an important element too! Creating a music that makes the whole world dance is a dream come true for DJs and singers. If you are really serious about this and put your heart to it, you will surely succeed.

Fanfares and Parodies

I absolutely love good Christmas music. Not the tacky junk that is often on the radio station I turn off for a lot of the season, but good Christmas music. I love great choirs with tremendous organ and brass fanfares. There is nothing that thrills me more than the American Boy Choir singing “O come, All ye Faithful,” for instance. When I listen to their album I am apt to push the repeat button – well, repeatedly. I also love the most sublime sounds from the same choirs, like a single chorister singing, “Once in Royal David’s City.” All brass can be just as thrilling, as long as carols are played at a slower tempo with elegant fluidity. But then I also love parodies of Christmas music when they are very cleverly done, and there is none more amusing than the old Alan Sherman “Twelve Days of Christmas.” A twist on this love of parodies goes to the Village People’s “Y.M.C.A.” only it is “N.O.E.L.” and some of the lines are absolutely hysterical. These days, though, there are a lot of want-to-be parodies that are just crumby versions of great tunes, and these I do not enjoy.

El Tapes

Do you want to know what makes pathway, walkways, steps and corners light? Electroluminescent tape is a new innovation in the light industry these days. They are cost effective and energy efficient so many people and business establishments are considering its function. They are very light, durable and sturdy. If you want to have one, you can purchase it on stores near you with different lengths and colours available for you.If you want to put up a business, el tape will surely make a great difference at the end of every closing time. El tapes are helpful and appealing for your customers so you should purchase it as soon as you can. El tapes will make your place brighter and more beautiful. Of course you need to make sure if your business is worth the venture in the first place.

The Person I Love To Travel With Is

I am the pastor of a church and have worked with our music director for more than two decades. She is my favorite travel buddy, too. Why? She’s up for anything, a really good sport, and is willing to do the driving. Twice we flew out to California, once for a wedding and once to see a church member in the Christmas show at the Crystal Cathedral. These trips were such fun! I always navigate, and I can tell her, “Oops, we need to turn left,” and somehow she’ll cross three lanes of traffic to do it. The bride can say, “Oops, the hired musician is unwilling to accompany the soloist,” and she’ll learn the piece and do it. We did a wedding at a national park in New Mexico and she brought a keyboard to play. Only there was nothing, not even a table, to put it on for the service. “Hey!” I said as I ironed my pants. “What,” she asked. I pointed at the ironing board. Yep, she asked the hotel staff and we took the ironing board to the park to be a keyboard stand. Getting meals, going shopping, it’s all a riot travelling with her – and easy, very easy.

The Perfect Game

I believe baseball is the most perfect game ever created, and I am an avid fan of major league baseball. For me its perfection lies in the fact that it is easily understood by any viewer, yet upon looking further there are details upon details and layers upon layers to understand and enjoy. The most peculiar occurrences have rules to govern them, and some statistics are astounding: see the story of the time John Lackey had an ERA of infinity, for example. Then there are the paradoxes, like the fact that a game with lots and lots of scoring is every bit as exciting as a game with no scoring at all: I should mention the intensely hot summer day when we sat absolutely riveted to the Philadelphia Phillies game that grew more exciting by the minute. That was the day Jim Bunning pitched a perfect game. There’s absolutely nothing I don’t love about baseball.
